I can't see my femfit

Now that's annoying. But don't worry, once it connects the first time, it will remember how to connect for next time.

Here is the process to resolve connection issues with Android devices.

1. check Bluetooth is enabled for the femfit App

2. check your femfit device is ready (battery charged, white light in the pod showing device turned on)

3. on the 'Connect your femfit' page (after My Day page) of the femfit App, select your femfit device serial  number (for example FF402865). That means actually tap on your femfit device serial number.

Details for each step follows.

Step 1: Enabling Bluetooth for femfit

Your femfit device talks to your femfit App using Bluetooth, and the femfit App needs permission to use your phone's Bluetooth capabilities.

1. Open Settings: Swipe down from the top of your screen to reveal the quick settings and tap the gear icon, or open the Settings app from your app drawer.

  1. Find Apps: Tap on Apps (sometimes labeled Apps & notifications or Applications).

  2. Locate the femfit App:  either search for femfit, or scroll down to find it.

  3. Access Permissions

: Tap on the femfit app, then select Permissions.

  4. femfit needs Nearby device to be allowed. If Nearby devices is Not Allowed, tap on Nearby devices and change to Allow.

  5. Location is not required and should be in the Not Allowed category.

Step 2: Your femfit device needs to be charged and turned on.

a) To charge your femfit leave it in the femfit charger with the charger plugged into a USB port for two hours. The white light on the charger, near the USB cable port, will be active during this time. (Later, once connected, you can see your battery level on the My Day page of the femfit App.)

b) To turn on your femfit, press the centre of your white femfit pod, directly above the ff logo. A white light will come on inside the pod. It should be on and steady. Your femfit device is now ready for a connection to your phone. If no connection is made for 10 minutes, it will turn itself off. You can turn it on again, by pressing the centre of the pod.

Step 3: Connect using the femfit App.

a) Open the femfit App and from bottom menu, navigate to My Day

b) Select  'Setup device', you will now see the 'Connect your femfit' page.

c) Click on your femfit device serial number, (e.g. FF402865)

d) Select Continue to return to My Day. The femfit device battery level will be displayed. The white light on your femfit device will change from solid on to blinking.
