Take up the femfit® challenge!

Continence Week is just around the corner, so it is a timely moment to remind ourselves about the ‘Power of the Pelvic Floor muscles!’

The pelvic floor muscles are complex and, for most women, a bit of a mystery! This complex group of muscles are at the base of the bony pelvis and provides support for the bladder, bowel, and uterus.  Most of the time, we are unaware of their presence; they just get on with their job!

However, they do need some love and attention particularly during pregnancy, after birth, and around the time of the menopause. So, if you are experiencing symptoms of leakage, prolapse (a feeling of heaviness in your vagina), or sexual dysfunction, then it could be that you need to connect with the power of the pelvic floor.

We know that one in three women will experience urinary incontinence at some stage of their lives, one in twelve will struggle with prolapse, and many, many women have issues with sexual function.  This is so much more than just a bother.

The good news is that effective pelvic floor exercises will make a difference!

To be effective, we need to locate and target the mystery muscle and make it the focus of the exercise programme. This is where femfit® comes in!  It is the only device that gives women really good, real-time information that they are indeed targeting the correct muscle, and not their abdominals or butt muscle (or any other muscle!).

Now is the time to deal with those symptoms and engage with the power of your pelvic floor.  Make those exercises count – every time, with femfit® and the ‘Continence Awareness Week’ challenge.

So, are you ready to SQUEEZE & RELEASE for a week? Join the ‘Continence Awareness Week’ challenge by downloading the femfit® app, creating an account and following the programme to be in to win a free femfit®.
